Throughout my years exploring meditation and the thinking mind, I have read many different books and watched several videos that have helped me learn more about meditation and stillness. This is a list of videos from around the web that have helped me to gain self-awareness and inner peace. I believe they can also ease that chatter in your mind. These videos allowed me to stay focused on my meditation and gave me a new perspective on life. I often listen to and re-watch these videos to help me stay on track. I look at life in a different way now. You are not your thoughts, feelings or emotions. There is something deeper than all that noise. You can retrain your mind to become more self-aware and present.
Playlist for Self Awareness and Inner Peace

This is a good meditation by Deepak Chopra to listen to before bed. I also have the audio version of The Secret of Healing and listen to it in the car from my iPhone. This video is a good way to start a new dialog in your mind. Many of these Sutras are very ancient and can help in shifting your consciousness.
J.Krishnamurti is a profound teacher of the human condition. In this video, he discusses the movement of fear and how it creates so much anger and anxiety. He talks about how fear has divided our society. Can the mind observe fear? Without the movement of thought. Thought and knowledge have created fear. Knowledge has become ignorance. You don’t need knowledge to understand “what is”.
The Power of Your Mind
